Abstract

Although  Allama Muhammad Iqbal's poetry is universal and the influence of traditional Urdu poetry on his early poetry is significant. Perhaps this is why he thought of giving up poetry but continued to write at the behest of Sir Abdul Qadir and Professor Arnold. But in this period, Iqbal wrote deviated from the tradition and gave a new turn to his thinking and imagination. This poetry of Iqbal jolts the thinking patterns of the Muslims and creates a new way of thinking in them, it creates in them a hope to live. To understand the views of Allama Muhammad Iqbal, the Iqbal scholars have divided his poetry into four periods. In his poetry, Allama Muhammad Iqbal has tried to awaken the dormant emotions of Muslims by using "concept of self", "philosophy of love" and "man of faith". He established his own theory and philosophy after observation, study and reflection but he stuck to it till end
